On the Property

Cornish Point Bed & Breakfast offers plenty to do indoors and outdoors. We provide a pool table, board games, internet access, a large outdoor chess set, spa and mini putting green. The decking area has a barbeque and is perfect for outdoor dining with the beautiful view across Lake Dunston to Old Cromwell Town.

Our property adjacent to the house has alpacas and llamas. They are friendly so don't be shy.

In the Area

There are many wineries near by such as Akarua, Bald Hills, Felton Road, Carrick and Mount Difficulty. Numerous cafes and restaurants are located within 10 minutes from the property. Cromwell itself is 12kms from the home by road or 2kms by boat or kayak.

Also in the area are several golf courses and ski fields. Additionally, you can go white water rafting, mountain biking, gold panning and fishing or just enjoy a walk along the shores of Lake Dunston.

Cromwell town is home to the Cromwell Museum which can give you an insight into the history of Cromwell and surrounding areas. Cromwell was a mining town and many old mining sites can still be viewed today.
